It’s that time of year again.

The nights are drawing in, the weather is changing, and there’s a familiar feeling around the park that things are about to get busy.

From the beginning of October, our shop will be open again, and we’ll be here until we sell out — which is usually around the end of January.

I’m really looking forward to seeing lots of familiar faces again, and hopefully meeting plenty of new ones too.

A little thank you for coming along

This year, if you leave your email address below, I’ll send you a 10% discount code for your first order.

I also thought it would be a good way to keep people up to date with what’s happening here.

Opening times can change, we might add extra collection days, something interesting might turn up, or there may simply be something happening at the park that I think you’d like to know about.

So if you’d like to hear from us, leave your email below, and I’ll keep you posted.

And don't worry — I’m not interested in filling your inbox with endless sales messages. If I email you, there’ll be a reason for it.

What will be in the shop?

There’ll be all the usual cuts, including:

Mince · Diced · Steaks · Sausages · Burgers · Joints · Loin

We’ll also have firewood, dog chews, antlers and a variety of crafts made from antlers.

There will be a few familiar favourites and, as always, probably a few things that appear along the way.

We’ve been busy in the barn

We’ve spent quite a lot of time clearing out the barn, and we’re going to make better use of it this year.

We’ll have a big screen showing films from the deer park, along with tea and coffee and maybe a cake or two available to buy.

Now, before anyone gets too excited, it still very much looks like a barn.

It’s a long way from being a coffee shop — and I’m perfectly happy with that.

It’s somewhere to come in, have a cup of tea, watch the films, have a chat and let the children explore the yard.

There are chickens, cats, dogs and horses wandering about, so there’s usually something going on.

It’s still very much an outdoor, working environment, though, so come prepared for the weather.

There’s parking and a toilet on site.

Collection times

The shop will be open for collection:

Wednesday — 10am–2pm
Saturday — 2pm–4pm
Sunday — 10am–12pm

We may add more times as we go along, so if you leave your email address, we can let you know when something changes.

Come and say hello

I love seeing the people who have been coming back to us year after year, and I’m just as pleased when someone walks through the door for the very first time.

There’s something lovely about people coming to the park — It’s not a polished visitor attraction and it’s not meant to be.

It’s a working deer park, a farmyard, a little shop, a barn with a screen in it, and a place where there are usually a few animals doing exactly what they please.

And you’re very welcome to come and see it.

If you’d like 10% off your first order and would like me to let you know about extra opening times and what’s happening here, just leave your email below.

I’ll look forward to seeing the familiar faces, meeting the new ones and sharing another year at the park with you.

See you in October. ❤️
